Dr. Mandhare is a drug development professional with over 28 years of expert hands-on knowledge in computation chemistry, advanced molecular modeling, pharmacophore mapping and molecular docking methodologies. He has developed predicative hypothesis models and virtual screening assays to create novel backbones with planned physicochemical properties and toxicities. He has applied various advanced in-silico techniques and knowledge based artificial intelligence concepts in the lead identification and lead optimization processes.

Dr. Mandhare received his Ph.D. from National Chemical Laboratory (NCL). Following this, he was associated with Core Healthcare Ltd, where he was instrumental in setting up a CADD program. As a Senior scientist at Torrent Research Center (TRC), he participated in the development of leads in several therapeutic areas including hypertension, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. He is also the author of several key national and international scientific publications and product patents.

At VRise his responsibilities include overseeing Medicinal Chemistry and CADD program.
